An entomologist is trapped in a strange house at the bottom of a sand pit, guarded by a mysterious woman. When he realizes this is a trap to make him a slave to endless work—digging up the sand that keeps burying them—he tries to escape. But the longer he is trapped, the more he questions the reality and craziness behind this life. Will he find freedom, or will he lose his mind?
