After Alice beheaded Pamela Voorhees, she lived in trauma—but Jason, Pamela's son who was supposed to have drowned, was still alive and witnessed his mother's death. Five years later, a camp counselor training program was started at nearby Camp Crystal Lake. As the teenagers begin to explore the cursed lake, they are slaughtered one by one.
