Jack Torrance, a writer with a dark past, takes his family to the remote Overlook Hotel to work as winter guards. However, the hotel harbors a swamp of darkness that slowly eats away at Jack's mind. Danny, his son who has the ability "The Shining", senses the presence of evil forces, especially from Room 237. As a snowstorm isolates them, Jack begins to lose control—and the voices in his head want blood. Who will be the next victim?
