The Awakener
O Doutrinador tells the story of Miguel, a federal agent whose life changes completely after a devastating personal tragedy. Filled with grief and disillusionment with a failed system, he takes on the identity of a masked vigilante to avenge and enforce justice in his own way, attacking corrupt politicians and businessmen who harm ordinary people in Brazil. The hook arises from the tension between the desire for personal revenge and the social impact of his actions: can justice be served by someone outside the law?
