Strike Back
SAS Sergeant John Porter (Richard Armitage), by Latif's men. Colonel Eleanor Grant, the new head of Section 20, tasks British Sergeant Michael Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) with finding another Westerner who can identify Latif: dishonorably discharged American former Delta Force operative Damian Scott (Sullivan Stapleton). After Porter's brutal execution early in the season, Scott and Stonebridge, initially tense, formed an effective partnership. A tip from a hostage Porter leads them to New Delhi, India, where they thwart a terrorist attack on a hotel. Their adventures take Section 20 across international locations, including South Africa, Sudan, Kosovo, and Hungary, to stop Latif's broader plans. They revealed that Latif planned the attack using VX nerve gas, which involved planting explosives inside the bodies of the suicide bombers.
