Rosie, a 13 year old teenager, is trapped in a juvenile correctional facility. Through flashbacks, we are invited to dive into his life story which is full of secrets and disappointments. Rosie lives with her 'sister' Irene, who is actually her mother, but they hide this fact from the outside world. When her uncle Michel and Irene's boyfriend, Bernard, appear in their lives, Rosie feels neglected and seeks the attention of a handsome young man named Jimi. Was it the adventure with Jimi that caused Rosie to end up in juvenile hall? And why does Jimi never answer his letters?
