Paths of Glory

World War I, France. Colonel Dax leads his troops in an impossible attack ordered by a praise-hungry general. When the troops withdrew due to the mission's failure, the soldiers were punished for "cowardice"—even though they were simply victims of their superiors' greed. Dax fights to defend them in a military court full of injustice, exposing the corruption of a system that sacrifices lives for the sake of false honor.
