In the midst of the 14th century Japanese civil war, a woman and her son-in-law survive by killing soldiers and selling looted goods. When their neighbor, Hachi, teases their daughter-in-law, the mother plans a terror using a demon mask made from a samurai corpse. But the mask brings an unexpected curse. How far will a mother go to protect what remains?
