Allison and Emily, two naive teenagers from an elite neighborhood, are obsessed with the hip-hop "gangsta" lifestyle. Their desire to experience the wild world leads them to East L.A., where they meet Hector, a ruthless drug dealer, and an unforgiving Latino gang. When reality is more brutal than fantasy, they are drawn into a cycle of violence and betrayal.
