Lee Hyun-min, an expert in facial reconstruction from skulls, leaves his job at the institute to care for his daughter, Jin, who is allergic to beta and recently underwent a heart transplant by Dr. Yoon. When new researcher Jung Sun-young brings in the skull of a serial killer's victim whose body was melted with acid, Hyun-min refuses the assignment—until the victim's ghost haunts her. Forced, he reconstructs the woman's face, while Jin begins to experience heart complications. Dr. Yoon refuses to provide donor history, making him Detective Suh's prime suspect.
