Based on historical events, this film depicts a devastating mutiny on the battleship Potemkin. Initially just a protest over rotten meat being served for dinner, it turned into a bloody revolution as sailors raised red flags and raised a spirit of rebellion in the port of Odessa. A silent cinema masterpiece full of tension and a symbol of resistance.
