Alganesh
That sentence is stuck on the wall of the collection center in Endabaguna, Ethiopia, where a hundred Eritrean refugees arrived after a harrowing journey in stuffy trucks for four days. This documentary reveals the stories behind the images of refugees we often see: why are they fleeing, what happened before they reached the rescue boats? Through four refugee camps, we witness the suffering of unaccompanied children, the persecuted Kunama community, and those trapped there for 17 years. In the midst of despair, Dr. Alganesh Fessaha fought for the rights of refugees and freed victims of torture in the Sinai desert. A story about people, the friendly land of Ethiopia, and the hope that continues to burn.
